VIRTUAL GEMSA Conference Re-launch
The virtual conference kicks off Monday, February 1 at 8:00 AM. Sessions will then be available from Feb. 1 - March 15, so you can view them on your own time. Reminder: If you previously attended these sessions in 2020, you can’t get CE credit for attending the same sessions again.
Below are some important details to get you ready for your virtual conference experience.
You should have received an email on Monday, Feb. 1 with a personalized login link. Sessions will be accessible as soon as you login.
If you don't get the email with your personalized login link:
1) Check your spam or junk folder for an email with subject: GEMSA Virtual Conference Re-Launch Open, From: firstname.lastname@example.org.
2) If you still can't find the email with your login link, email Mary Napier at GEMSA.
If you have logged in with your personalized link the first time and want to return to watch more sessions, just visit https://gemsa.pathable.co.
Once you have watched a session, you will get an email reminder to fill out your surveys in order to get credit. You can also view your evaluations at https://surveys.gtrnow.com/BTWC. Enter the email address you are using for the virtual platform to get in.
EMS CE hours are approved by the Georgia Office of EMS/Trauma.
Nursing CE hours are being provided by ASTNA for the virtual conference.
Start and watch a live or recorded session until the end (remember – you must be “PRESENT” in each session for the minimum time of 50 minutes). You also have to fill out a session evaluation or you will not receive credit. Evaluations must be completed by March 15 to get credit.
You will receive an email with a link to your printable certificate/transcript for all sessions completed on or before March 26, 2021. You have 90 days after the event to print your certificate online.
Please note that all sessions will be uploaded to the state GEMSIS system by GEMSA. We will have that completed by March 26. Please keep a copy of the certificate for your records, but there is no need to upload your sessions.
